Assist and Finance the Cost of Technical Development We aim to accelerate the pace of the technological innovation of SMEs, and to enhance the technological competitiveness of the heavy electrical machine industry by extending loans and supporting up to 100% of the cost of new technologies and products for SMEs that possesses potential technology development capabilities. The goal is to contribute to the development of the so called “Power IT” industry and to enhance the technological competitiveness of the heavy electrical machine industry by vitalizing R&D and expanding investment into new and fusion technologies related to heavy electrical machines, including environmentally-friendly technology, Power IT technology, and core parts and materials for next-generation heavy electrical machines. 2. Operate Large and Small Businesses Cooperation Commission We strive to establish a cooperative system that will enable symbiotic growth between large companies such as Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), Hyosung, Hyundai Heavy Industries, LS Industrial Systems, and the various SMEs. ◈ Major Activities ▶ Joint cooperation in the technological development of IT equipment used in electrical generation, and core parts and materials that are currently imported ▶ Nurture talents in state of the art technologies for heavy electrical machines ▶ Improve system to expand cooperation between large companies and SMEs ▶ Cooperate in efforts, so that large companies and SMEs can jointly enter overseas markets
